Black Heron Fly Fishing

A great fly for summer steelhead in the Pacific Northwest.

Put this fly on the end of a single or double handed fly rod and watch the steelies grab it.

Our favorite way to fish this fly is using a floating line and long leader of 12-13 feet and swing it in the longer runs and riffles.
